In 1959, the Chosen Few MC officially formed out in LA on the cusp of the chaotic 60s.  As they tell it — “The 60s was a hell of a time. With the Civil Rights Movement, The Viet Nam War, Flower Power & Free Love. Sex, Drugs, and  Rock & Roll. Also the Crazy World of the Outlaw Bikers.”
If this sounds as foreign to you as it did to me, a kid who grew up in the world of white biker culture – well, consider the cultural stereotypes around bikers.
From the Chosen Few history“When you talk of the Outlaw Bikers you automatically think of ‘Them Crazy White Boys’ doing what a lot of folk wish they could do. Live Life Like You Want & F*ck You And Your Rules. Well Guess What? There was some crazy Black bikers who felt the same way, and didn’t give a F*ck. Thus was born the Black Outlaw Bikers!”
Black motorcycle clubs emerged throughout Cali in the 50s & 60s, and fought against racism and stereotypes of the day for their right to live the outlaw biker lifestyle — like the East Bay Dragons, Fresco Rattlers, Outlaw Vagabonds, Defiant Ones; down South in LA were the Choppers, Soul Brothers & of course, the Chosen Few.

The first White boy to come to the Chosen Few MC  was “White Boy Art.” He came around 1960, followed by “White Boy Tom”. Soon we started to attract other White outlaw riders that wanted to join us. The Chosen Few  became a multi-racial MC with chapters that were, all Black, all White, half White and half Mexican, half Black and half White, all Mexican, half Mexican and half Indian, a few Asians & one Iranian dude.
Our “Take None, Give None” 1%er diamond was given to us by “69 Jim” who was a 5 foot 6 inch radical Mexican. This patch has stood the test of time. The club may have started out Black, but our White brothers took us head-on into the outlaw biker world. The White clubs knew about the Chosen Few MC. They knew it was a Black club. Then they saw the White brothers flying the same patch as the Blacks — The Sh*t Hit The Fan.
The White Brothers Didn’t Give A Sh*t. They fought for there place in the outlaw biker world & flew the Chosen Few colors proudly. The White bro’s brought a true brotherhood to the club. The Chosen Few was the 1st fully integrated outlaw biker MC.  It soon became well known all around by the other clubs that — “In Black & White, We Really Had Might.”

Russian Bugatti motorcycle designse
I have on my site offered a variety of designs with Bugatti-input, ranging from the Chrysler Atlantic, Artioli´s and VW Bugattis, through Custom motorcycles and designs for a T41 Sport Carrera, to quite modern designs by Tsikolia. This is not because I think that the original Bugatti work can in any way be redone, but it is interesting to see how new and young designers try to translate the old Bugatti spirit into a new design. And, there is no question about it, some are successfull, some not. On this page I show two different designs, both from Russia. I only have the name of the designer of the yellow bike: Alexander Sekirash. He says about his design:
Ettore Bugatti specialized in building racing cars, and never produced motorbikes. The fantastic design of BUGATTI's cars nevertheless inspired me to create these "BUGATTI" motorcycles.
I first investigated pictures of road and sport cars from the blooming period of the famous marque and found out the distinctive patterns of the firms style and romantic spirit of the 30s'. I then tried to imagine how they would have evolved from the 30s to our days. I worked on the base of YAMAHA and HONDA bikes because Japanese bikes are characterized by affordable prices, high quality and good performance.
I chose two possible suspension designs - classic and mono, based on the Yamaha GTS 1000 model

No, this is not a joke. I’ve just seen these photos on the internet and I figured that you’d be interested in some new prototypes :D

I have never imagined that Mercedes-Benz or Audi would create a motorcycle but these photos prove that imagination can go beyond the idea of four wheelers :)

I don’t know much about these sketches but hell they look interesting. I wonder if that Bugatti motorcycle is actually a Veyron or an Atlantic Coupe. What do you think?

 

Motorcycle BUGATTI

 The project presentation includes a graphic part where art features of BUGATTI cars and a model in 1:5 scale are analyzed.
The graphics is separated in two parts, the first part consists of the photos of sportsters, tourist and road BUGATTI models of the flourishing period of the famous brand. It is, so-called, the initial point, the gene of Molsheim cars. The second part explains how the stylistics would develop for motorcycles of the 30-90-ies of the past century and the drawings with two forming options represented by projections in 1:5 scale.
Motorcycle assemblies and frame are entirely jacketed, this creates the effect of structure solidity. The idea to apply a mono-suspension came practically at once since we wanted to show webs that were used on some BUGATTI models, in particular, on splendid Royal Type 41. Moreover, such structure has a lot of advantages. These are low friction in mating parts, increased total motorcycle twisting stiffness, anti-pecking effect during braking.

The Bugatti Veyron-inspired chopper

A lucky Hong Kong biker, who has just taken delivery of a £1m Bugatti Veyron has commissioned Waltz Hardcore Cycles to create this matching bike.
The Veyron China 1 has been 18 months in the making and is based on the limited Iceman chassis – developed for F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen’s Ferrari chopper

This is a motorcycle concept going by the name “Bugatti startos” designed by Bruno Delussu. With a body made of fiberglass to make the entire thing light, setting the rider in the same place as a racing bike (lying on the bodywork,) and a cute traditional speedometer. Most intriguing of all about the Bugatti startos is its inability to steer — it can only go straight. We’re baffled at where you could actually use such a motorcycle.

Display As Snake makes this motorcycle has a nickname SNAKE-ROAD. Body is wrapped with a layer of fiberglass to make it look shiny motorcycle daytime. By using the internal combustion engine motorcycle concept future will be many kinds, not only the electric engine. Oddly Bruno said that this vehicle has no driver’s method, so just go straight.

 

 Though there are other interesting motorcycle designs, like this Bugatti motorcycle, though it may be more interesting because it’s different than because it is great design, though here is another view from a 1996 design. Regardless of whether their designs are “great” in the long term, they certainly are including radical types of design – artsy, art deco, streamlined, I wish I had better terms to use – that veer drastically from the frame based motocross design of the rice burners.

Most of you are well aware of the T-Rex, we've covered them before. Powered by Kawasaki, it's fast, a little crazy and it looks like it could be a whole lot of fun. Well here's one for sale on eBay that might be a little bit more fun. The owner took it to Mr Turbo for a little engine work. They completely rebuilt the motor with stronger pistons, converted it to fuel injection, added a turbo, intercooler, and air shifter with on-board compressor. It can be run at 30 pounds of boost but the owner has never gone beyond 12 pounds, but even there it has 220 rear wheel horsepower! There's a five point harness and arm restraints, too, just in case you want to really let it loose.

Mahindra To Launch 125cc & 300cc Bikes

Mahindra plans to launch 2 new bikes in the festive season. The first bike will be a 300cc machine which is being launched for brand building. We expect it to be priced around Rs. 1.5 lakhs. The second machine is a 125cc bike which will compete with the likes of the Stunner, Pulsar 135, Splendor and Flame. Unconfirmed reports suggest Aamir Khan will be the brand ambassador for Mahindra Motorcycles.

Now that the 125cc Cevalo from SYM is ruled out as Mahindra’s first motorcycle, the quest is on to learn what’s happening behind closed doors of Mahindra’s development centre.

The company is working on a motorcycle which will be launched in 2010. On his twitter page, Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman of the Mahindra group replied to a question on superbikes and whether the company is developing one based on the concept it showed at the Auto Expo
